Our Programs
We provide dynamic programs and vibrant workshops aimed at tackling pressing social issues such as the shadows of depression, the challenges of obesity, and the complexities of high teenage birth rates, all while igniting a passion for higher education and a spirit of positivity. Through immersive activities and uplifting mentorship, we nurture resilience and self-confidence, empowering girls to flourish in every facet of their lives. Together, we illuminate the path to a brighter future for our young girls.
Our Impact of Service
The Diamond Project's six powerful service programs uplift our mentees and empower Mississippi communities through transformative wellness retreats, voter registration efforts, and meaningful volunteer projects.
Health & Wellness
We provide health & wellness best practices to boost confidence through workshops and mentoring on nutrition, mental health, and fitness. We empower young women to build healthy habits.
Professional Development
We aim to equip our girls with essential skills and knowledge for success through resume-building workshops, exploration of internship opportunities, and hands-on experiences.
Personal Growth
We create experiences that build self-confidence and foster a positive attitude. Our mentees set meaningful goals and form lasting friendships on their journey of self-discovery.
Civic Engagement
We encourage young women to find their voices and ignite change in their communities. Our education workshops and projects, they learn about leadership, advocacy, and civic duty.
Community Service
We empower our mentees to positively impact their neighborhoods while developing essential life skills, and creating ways to serve. Participants learn the value of teamwork and compassion.
Prevention
We are dedicated to providing resources for issues like teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and substance abuse. This equip girls with tools to navigate these challenges and build resilience.
Our Community Engagement
For eight years, The Diamond Project has empowered young girls by providing growth opportunities. Our initiatives prepare them for both professional and personal advancement. These notable achievements have helped bridge the social disparity gap for girls in Mississippi.

Served over 80 Mentees
With the help of our mentors the organization has proudly served 81 girls in Grenada, MS achieving a 100% high school graduation and college acceptance rate.
Over 100 Workshops
Our educational workshops, has tackled essential topics like mental health, STEM, teen pregnancy prevention, and civic engagement to help provide vital knowledge and basic skills.
25 Community Events
We have actively participated in community events and service projects, including holiday giveaways and volunteering at children's homes and shelters, to demonstrating our commitment to service.
$126,000 in Funding
With support from micro donations and fundraising efforts, we have secured funding that positively impacts our mentees' professional development.
$14,500 in Scholarships
Our funding sources also offer scholarship opportunities for girls, who are often first-generation college students in need of financial assistance.
15 Professional Mentors
The Diamond Project's work is supported by dedicated mentors from various backgrounds who assist mentees in navigating the complex social issues faced by teenage girls.
