The best mentors are those who speak from experience...
The Diamond Project provides the opportunity for young girls to connect with mentors who grew up in the same small towns, graduated from the same schools, and accomplished much success. Each mentor comes with her own personal story of struggle and how she was able to overcome the adversities that she faced. As our motto states, "Diamonds are formed under pressure" and our mentors are committed to helping empower and inspire our young mentees to reach their full potentials.
The Diamond Project’s mentors come from different backgrounds with a variety of skill sets and areas of expertise. Among our group of mentors are professionals in the areas of business, healthcare, politics, law, creative design, and journalism.
With a diverse background and skill set, The Diamond Project will provide unique prospective and experiences to our mentees. Our mentors will prepare our participants to achieve goals for higher education and entering the work force by using their personal networks and resources to provide guidance from their respective career fields and experiences.
